We define our coaching as helping guide you in Gospel-driven sanctification. We seek to build a relationship with you as you strengthen your relationship with God. Our guidance can take different forms of relationship: coaching, friendship, mentoring, or discipleship. Though I have graduate work in counseling, we are not counselors. If what you are facing requires professional counseling we offer referrals while still providing coaching support.
We strive to be God centered, God glorifying, God directed and Biblically based. We seek God’s transformation of your heart which will lead to change in your thinking, emotions and actions. With this growth, you will address the issues/areas/relationships you seek to see change in. Our primary intent is to coach you in your relationship with God--helping you seek a Life of Worship for God. You will uniquely discover and develop four areas: Worship, Identity, Desire and Satisfaction.
We, as your coaches, are seeking to follow God’s leading. Therefore, we endeavor to listen and understand both God and you. The first six weeks normally proceeds as follows:
Initial Six Week Process: In 6 (1 to 1.5 hour sessions) we will listen to your story and help you discover where God initially wants to bring change in your life. You will begin the process of taking initial steps for change.
Six Week Evaluation: We will evaluate the process after 6 weeks. If things are not progressing we may suggest that you seek biblical counseling or other help more suited for your need.
We always begin on an individual coaching level. Though we can work with people individually, as a couple or as a family, we always begin on an individual level with the belief that whatever you are facing is vertical (you & God) before it is horizontal (you & others).
Faith-Based Financial Support: Though there is no financial charge for coaching, we ask those who receive our coaching to pray for God’s guidance and His provision in giving to this ministry.
